Refund Policy
14 days, no questions asked. After that, refunds for technical defects only.
Last update May 20, 2026
[01]·The short version
Within 14 days of purchase, you can request a full refund for any reason — no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion for technical defects that prevent you from using the product.
[02]·14-day refund window
Every GlassKitpurchase comes with a 14-day refund window. During this window, you can request a refund for any reason — you don't like the code, you changed your mind, you found a different boilerplate, or no reason at all.
The window starts on the date of your purchase and ends 14 calendar days later at 23:59 UTC.
[03]·How to request a refund
You have two options:
- Self-service via the customer portal — log in to the customer portal using the email you purchased with, find your GlassKitorder, and click “Request refund”. The refund is processed automatically.
- Email us at support@glasskit.app with your order ID or the email address you purchased with. We process refunds within one business day.
[04]·What happens when you refund
On refund:
- The full purchase amount is returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days (depending on your bank)
- Your GitHub repository access is revoked. You will no longer be a collaborator on the GlassKit repository.
- Your license is terminated. You may not continue to use GlassKit for any commercial product.
- Any local copies of the GlassKit repository should be deleted from your machines.
- Discord access (Pro / Agency tiers) is revoked.
You may purchase GlassKit again in the future if you change your mind. There is no penalty for previous refunds.
[05]·After the 14-day window
After 14 days, we do not offer no-questions-asked refunds. However, we issue refunds at our discretion in the following situations:
- Technical defects — if GlassKit has a critical bug that prevents you from using it as described in the documentation, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable timeframe, we will refund your purchase
- Misrepresentation — if we materially misrepresented GlassKit's capabilities and you relied on that representation, we will refund your purchase
- Duplicate purchase — if you accidentally purchased GlassKit twice (e.g., from two different email addresses), we will refund one of the purchases regardless of timing
To request a discretionary refund, email support@glasskit.app with a description of the issue. We respond within two business days.
[06]·What's not refundable
The following situations do not qualify for a refund (except within the 14-day no-questions-asked window):
- You decided not to use GlassKit after the 14-day window
- Your project priorities changed and you no longer need a boilerplate
- You bought the wrong tier — please email us; we'll upgrade or downgrade you instead of refunding
- You found a free alternative — we're happy that you found something that works for you, but pricing is set at purchase and not retroactively reduced
- You used GlassKit to ship a commercial product and then requested a refund — keeping a refund and a shipped product is a license violation
[07]·Chargebacks
If you initiate a credit-card chargeback instead of requesting a refund through normal channels, your license is terminated immediately and your repository access is revoked. Chargebacks incur disproportionate costs and disrupt our business, so we ask that you contact us first — we issue refunds quickly and without friction within the 14-day window, and discretionarily afterward.
If you chargeback and we believe you violated our license terms (e.g., you continued to use GlassKit for a commercial product after refund), we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with the card network.
[08]·Questions
If you're unsure whether you qualify for a refund or how to request one, email support@glasskit.app. We're responsive and reasonable.
